It’s not complicated. 

Either: 

     A) Determine the lifestyle you want and find a job that can support it

Or

     B) Find a job and live within the confines of what that salary affords. 

There is not a valid third option. 

Nearly every financial problem is a violation of this basic choice. Its an attempt to live a lifestyle which out paces current income. It’s hypocrisy.  

If your current spending doesn’t match your current income—either change jobs or cut spending.
